How to maintain the return oil of a PVD coating machine?

If the vacuum gauge is not damaged, it is generally not necessary to repair the return oil. It is mainly used to clean the oil in the diffusion pump of the PVD coating machine vacuum chamber. Wipe all walls of the vacuum chamber with gasoline, and then wipe it again with alcohol. The key is to clean the oil stains. If there is oil stains in the chamber, the coating will appear white, and the paint film quality will be poor. This is not because of the damage of the electroplating equipment, but because of the oil in the vacuum chamber.
Problem: PVD coating machine How to repair oil return?
Answer:
1. If the vacuum gauge is not damaged, generally, oil return does not need to be repaired. It is mainly used to clean the oil in the diffusion pump of the PVD coating machine vacuum chamber. Wipe all the walls of the vacuum chamber with gasoline, and then wipe it with alcohol. The key is to clean the oil stains. If there is oil stains in the chamber, the coating will appear white, and the paint film quality will be poor. It is not because of the damage of the electroplating equipment, but because of the oil in the vacuum chamber.
2. If the diffusion pump of the PVD coating machine frequently returns oil, the following problems may occur:
1. The cooling water channel is not smooth or the water pressure is insufficient, resulting in a decrease in cooling capacity, the upper part of the diffusion pump becomes hot, and the oil gas cannot be well liquefied. The solution is to connect the inlet pipe of the diffusion pump to a 4MPa air source to remove scale, and connect the outlet pipe to a 4MPa air source to remove scale.
2. The heating temperature is too high because the power of the diffusion pump heater is inconsistent with the rated power. Too high will produce a lot of steam, causing oil return. Replacing the heating wire can solve the problem.
3. If the amount of oil in the PVD coating machine is too large, when it is compressed to a lower level, it is easy to cause slow and stagnant steam circulation, resulting in oil return. The oil quantity can be controlled according to the information provided by the manufacturer.
4. Oil oxidation. If the diffusion pump oil is oxidized, both the viscosity and the steam flow rate will be affected, and the jet speed cannot be reached, naturally returning to the vacuum chamber. To put it this way, remove the diffusion pump, take out the pump core, clean it with 120℃ gasoline, then polish it, polish off the carbon deposit and black oxide layer, then clean and dry it at 120℃, add oil once, then install it, pour the diffusion pump oil or silicone oil, heat it several times, and then it can start working. Prevent workpiece contamination.
5. If PVD coating machine The diffusion pump has been used for more than 8-10 years or used in harsh environments, it can be replaced. Improve work efficiency and maintenance costs.
