What are the maintenance tips for PVD coating machines? At present, many manufacturers are not very clear about the maintenance of PVD coating machines. When they need maintenance, they cannot start it, which makes many manufacturers and vacuum coating equipment very headache. Today, the PVD coating machine manufacturer will share with you how to maintain the PVD coating machine and three tips during the maintenance process.
1. After every 200 coating processes of the PVD coating machine, the workshop should be cleaned. Method: repeatedly scrub the vacuum chamber wall with saturated sodium hydroxide solution (note that human skin cannot directly contact the sodium hydroxide solution to avoid burns). The purpose is to make the aluminum (AL) plated on the film react with NaOH, after which the film peels off and releases hydrogen. Then clean the vacuum chamber with clean water and clean the dirt in the fine pumping valve with a cloth dipped in gasoline.
2. When the crude oil pump (sliding valve pump and rotary vane pump) works continuously for one month (half a month in the rainy season), the new oil needs to be replaced. Method: unscrew the open oil bolt to drain the old oil, then start the pump for a few seconds to completely drain the old oil in the pump. Tighten the oil bolt and add new oil to the oil level (observe with the oil sight glass). If used continuously for more than half a year, open the oil cover when changing the oil, and wipe the dirt in the box with a cloth.
3. If the diffusion pump is used continuously for more than 6 months, the pump speed slows down significantly, or if it is improperly operated. Pour it into the atmosphere, remove the connecting water pipe, remove the electric furnace plate, unscrew the nozzle, clean the pump chamber and pump box with gasoline, then clean it with washing powder mixed with water, and then clean it with clean water. After the water evaporates, install PVD coating machine the pump box, add new diffusion pump oil, install the diffusion pump return oil on the machine, connect the water pipe, install the electric furnace, and then restart the machine. Pay attention to leak detection before restarting the PVD coating machine. Method: start the maintenance pump, close the door, and observe whether the vacuum degree of the diffusion pump reaches 6x10pa after a few minutes, otherwise, leak detection is needed. Check whether there is a sealing rubber ring on the joint or whether the sealing ring is crushed. Eliminate the risk of leakage before heating, otherwise the diffusion pump oil will burn the oil ring and will not be able to enter the working state.
