4. Helium has a high thermal conductivity, so helium cooling is faster than nitrogen cooling, but it is also more expensive.
5. The rapid cooling procedure of foreign equipment can shorten the cooling time by 50% through the circulation cooling of the cooling gas.
Why perform a rise rate test?
The vacuum environment conditions of the PVD coating machine are an important factor affecting the coating quality. Before coating, a pressure rise rate test must be performed to ensure that the vacuum environment conditions meet the coating standards.
How to perform a rise rate test?
In our automatic coating process, the pressure rise rate test is performed automatically. After the vacuum degree in the vacuum chamber reaches the background vacuum set by the process, it will Enter the pressure rise rate test phase.
The PVD coating machine system automatically closes the high valve, at which point the vacuum chamber is isolated from the pump group, and the vacuum chamber pressure increases. If the pressure does not exceed the set alarm value within a certain time (usually 1 minute), the next procedure will automatically proceed, Entering the coating stage. When the pressure exceeds the set alarm value, a warning prompt will appear. At this time, the operator must re-evacuate, heat, and then repeat the rise rate test according to the operating procedure until the rise rate meets the coating conditions of the PVD coating machine.
