PVD coating machines utilize a surface treatment technology that involves sputtering, evaporation, or ion plating of materials such as titanium, gold, graphite, crystals, and other metals, non-metals, or gases onto substrates under vacuum conditions. Compared to traditional chemical coating methods, vacuum coating offers several advantages: it is environmentally friendly and a green process; it is harmless to operators; and the coating is strong, dense, highly corrosion-resistant, and uniform in thickness. Commonly used methods in PVD coating machine technology include evaporation coating (including arc evaporation, electron beam evaporation, resistance wire evaporation, etc.) and sputtering coating (including DC magnetron sputtering, medium-frequency magnetron sputtering, radio frequency sputtering, etc.), which are collectively referred to as...

PVD coating machine This is a surface treatment technology that uses vacuum conditions to sputter, evaporate, or ion-plate materials such as titanium, gold, graphite, crystals, and other metals or non-metals, and gases onto a substrate. Compared with traditional chemical coating methods, vacuum coating has many advantages: it is environmentally friendly and a green process; it is harmless to operators; the film layer is strong, dense, highly corrosion-resistant, and the film thickness is uniform. Commonly used methods in PVD coating machine technology include evaporation coating (including arc evaporation, electron beam evaporation, resistance wire evaporation, etc.) and sputtering coating (including DC magnetron sputtering, medium-frequency magnetron sputtering, radio frequency sputtering, etc.), which are collectively referred to as physical vapor deposition (PVD).

The corresponding chemical vapor deposition (CVD) is called CVD technology. In industry, it is usually called IP (ion plating) ion plating, because in PVD technology, various gas ions and metal ions participate in the film formation process and play an important role. In order to emphasize the role of ions, it is collectively referred to as ion plating. A PVD coating machine is a technology for preparing thin film materials. In a vacuum chamber, the atoms of the material are separated from the heat source and impact the surface of the object to be plated. Masking technology is used to prepare aluminum films on optical discs and metal films on printed circuit boards.

Vacuum coating has three forms: evaporation coating, sputtering coating, and ion plating. Evaporation coating is a coating method in which a substance is heated and evaporated and deposited on a solid surface. Metal, compound, and other evaporation materials are placed in a crucible or hung on a hot wire as an evaporation source, while metals, ceramics, and plastics wait for the plating substrate to be placed in front of the crucible. PVD coating machine After the system is evacuated to a high vacuum, the crucible is heated to evaporate the material. The atoms or molecules of the evaporated material are condensed and deposited on the substrate surface. The film thickness ranges from a few hundred angstroms to a few micrometers. The film thickness is determined by the evaporation rate and evaporation time (or loading amount) of the evaporation source, and is related to the distance between the source and the substrate.
